FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about selling, renting, and buying — anywhere in the U.S.

How much is my home worth?

We prepare a free market analysis using live comparable sales in your neighborhood — recent closings, active competition, and current buyer demand in your market. It's a real valuation, not an online estimate, and there's no obligation attached.

How long will it take to sell my home?

Well-priced homes typically go under contract within a few weeks of listing. Your exact timeline depends on price point, condition, and season — we'll give you an honest estimate during your free consultation.

What does it cost to list with GMA Homes?

The valuation and consultation are completely free. Commission is only earned when your home actually sells, and we'll explain the full structure clearly before you sign anything — no surprise fees.

Should I sell or rent out my property?

It depends on your equity, the rent your property can command, and your plans. We run both numbers for you — sale proceeds versus rental income — so you can decide with real figures instead of guesswork.

Do I need to renovate before listing?

Usually less than you'd think. We'll walk the property and tell you which fixes actually return money at closing and which to skip. Often small cosmetic work and good presentation beat major renovations.

Which areas do you cover?

All 50 states. Our home team covers Hudson County and the wider New Jersey market directly, and our vetted realtor network covers everywhere else — tell us where you are and we'll match you.

What happens after I submit the form?

We'll call or text you (per your consent) within one business day, usually sooner, to learn about your property and schedule your free market analysis. You can opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP.

I'm a buyer — can you help me too?

Absolutely. Tell us your budget and must-haves and we'll match you with listings — including properties that haven't hit the portals yet. Call us or use the chat to get started.
